Cotton Picker Overhaul: 2008

Vanderfield is a leading cotton picker parts and service company with full maintenance facilities at Toowoomba and St George.

We are pleased to announce that once again we are offering a pre-season inspection program for your picker(s) to assess the need for preventative maintenance before next season’s pick. At your request we will carry out a full appraisal of your equipment and provide you with a written report on our maintenance recommendations.

This will enable you to take advantage of our Pre-season Repair Programme. This programme involves an extensive overhaul of your equipment including (as required) replacement of bearings and seals; drive box overhaul; crack testing and straightening of bars; replacing roll pins and circlips on the drive shafts and inspecting gears and bearings. Spindles are checked, sorted and fitted with new bushes and collars and moisture columns are realigned and fitted with new pads. Any doffers which are reusable are reground. The rollers on the cam tracks are replaced and the tracks inspected. Cabinets are completely stripped, repaired, realigned, repainted and fitted with new decals. In the case of early model pickers, chains are replaced and a sun gear grease modification is performed.

Participation in our Cotton Picker Pre-season Repair Programme may qualify you to have your picker heads removed, transported to and from our workshop and refitted to your picker, free of charge.*

The Vanderfield Cotton Picker Pre-season Repair Program requires that you book your repairs with our service department with repairs to be completed before the end of March 2008 and offers Three (3) different payment plans to assist you to manage your cash flow*.

1. For a CASH PAYMENT on completion of the repair work you will be entitled to a 10% DISCOUNT on the total cost of repairs.(Valid until the 31st December 2007)*

2. If you decide to use your normal 30 day account facility no DISCOUNT will be applied (other than the normal Pre Season Parts Specials) to the cost of parts and repairs and payment must be made by the end of month following invoice.*

3. Or you may wish to avail yourself of our DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN whereby a special account can be opened for these repairs with full payment required by 16th May 2008. *

A 7.5% Surcharge on deferred payments applies. No discount is available on this account.

Any non stocked parts or parts purchased on the deferred payment plan, that are returned will attract a 15% parts return fee.

All Appraisals booked in will incur a $300 fee which is FULLY Redeemable upon purchase of dealership labour and parts to a combined value of $2500.00.

We strongly recommend that you contact us as soon as possible as the approach of next season will limit the number of bookings we are able to cater for later in the year. This may mean that you miss out on the benefits offered by this program.
